General Program Outline

Our school has developed a curriculum that focuses on the arts as well as the academics. We use a theme-based curriculum very similar to the Ontario Ministry of Education and Training. This fosters children’s independence, growth and creativity. Centrepointe Artistic Preschool & Kindergarten is an art based school. That provides a wide spectrum of arts related classes that will enrich our student’s experiences. We feel that art is vital to child development, in terms of communication, personality and balanced growth.

Our toddler's program begins at 13 months and run through to 3 years old. This program introduces music, art, and language development, in French and English, physical education, sensory experience as well as outdoor play. We teach through songs, activities and music, and provide stimulating environment to learn and grow. Once the younger children begin to show appropriate developmental milestones we will start transitioning them into our preschool program.

Centrepointe Artistic Preschool is a creative, stimulating and pleasant environment that has proven to be successful for a number of years. The children that graduate from our centre have had a successful transition into the elementary school system and have participated in a unique program that puts a great deal of emphasis on creativity and learning.

We are continuously changing our programs to meet the needs and interests of the children as well as providing innovative activities to help develop the minds.

4) Personal and Social Development
5) Arts:(visual arts, martial arts, dance, piano, recorder, violin, drum, guitar, physical education, children’s choir)
